Reading her OpEd makes me wonder if any of the war correspondents I’ve known would use witnessing my hardships and my friends sacrifices as a means of getting one up on POTUS. Would they seriously claim “all media” is mistreated because (vets at a rally) booed them?
I don’t know. But I can tell you the likes of Terry, Clarissa and David Wood would certainly put pen to paper to take up for their colleagues and themselves. But perhaps they’d offer an opposing perspective that attempted to persuade vets, rather than seemingly scold them
