FWIW, several readers suggest that Mueller may be investigating whether the Trump campaign responded to news of the Access Hollywood tape release by directly or indirectly getting Wikileaks to release the Podesta e-mails an hour later.

So that may be a possible collusion link Mueller is investigating: Specifically, did the Trump campaign respond to the Access Hollywood tape by alerting Russian government-linked contacts to release whatever dirt they had on Hillary to help Trump when he needed it most?

Gaming this out a bit: On Monday 10/3, DJT Jr. was asking wikleaks about the "wednesday leak" that R. Stone had hinted at. And if by Fri 10/7 the AH tape was released & all heck broke loose, & DJT Jr. was still wondering where that leak was, could have been some coordination.
Or not. Perhaps wikileaks just figured out on its own that the timing was good. Or maybe it was all a coincidence. As the President would say, "Could be other people also. A lot of people out there. "
