1/ We’re not building a blockchain world. We’re building a digital world.

Time for a thread to explain 👇🏽👇🏽
2/ We have historically lived in an analog world, where physical goods, paper, and human-led processes were rampant.

It worked because it was the best we had.
3/ Eventually we moved from an analog world to an electronic one. We began using the internet to trade, track, communicate and conduct offline activities.

The electronic world required the analog world to exist, but it made the analog world more efficient.
4/ The underlying technology of the internet doesn’t matter to the mass consumer, as long as it works.

People don’t use technology, they use products that make their life better.
5/ Now we are moving from the electronic world to a digital one.

We’re starting to replace the physical goods, paper, and human-led processes.
6/ As we digitize the offline world, we can build more efficient systems on a global scale.

Automation will be rampant.
7/ In the digital world, consumers don’t care what technology they use.

They simply want to use products and services that improve their lives.
8/ Blockchain technology is a powerful tool in many cases. It isn’t the best solution in every case though.

And that is okay.
9/ The best teams build products that solve problems. They don’t get emotionally attached to a single tech stack and they continue to evaluate their options to best serve their users.
10/ The digital world will be 10X better than the electronic world we live in today.

We have a lot of work to do, but we’re off to a great start.
