“I have been concerned at the continued attempts to refight the referendum and put the Leave campaigns in the dock,” writes @GregHands

Well I’m far more concerned that politicians should wish criminal actions to be ignored... for political expediency.

And I also note this piece is copy-paste from The @Telegraph two days earlier... but with a title change.

That’s not usual practice, is it @thetimes?
Here is the article by Greg Hands if you want to read it. It’s stuffed with plenty of errors. I’ll pick a few a thread below.

Dear @GregHands, this claim that “all” Remain campaigns met daily is complete bs.

I ran @Scientists4EU (+ @HealthierIn) - the second largest soc media pro-Remain campaign. We were never part of any daily meetings. Neither were European Movement or many other grassroots efforts.
Oh dammit! I was going to respond to more but Telegraph have locked me out. Guess the first view was free. Should’ve done series of screenshots.

Essentially, @GregHands simply undermines the Electoral Commission findings by peddling all the Vote Leave claims.

Tory chums > law?
Finally, with these handwavy excuses about who spent what money when... and maybe it didn’t make a difference.

There is an official, regulated period.

What’s the point in having rules for that, if campaigns disregard it & politicians like @GregHands excuse it? #corruption
Oh- and I forgot. He decided to attack the ‘three self-styled “whistleblowers”’...

That’s pretty cynical - and unworthy of an MP.
