Thread. I thought it was pretty clear on day one that the supposed forensic case for the DNC leak being an “inside job” didn’t add up; relieved some good folks who surprised me by loaning it their credibility have backed off.
Not in front of me right now, but if I’m recalling right, the Mueller indictment specifically described how the DNC files were compressed for exfiltration, which would seem to dispense with an argument dependent on file transfer rates in file metadata even if you trusted...
...that the published files weren’t tampered with, which also never seemed like a particularly sound assumption.
