Folks, “This was a meeting to get information on an opponent” isn’t some big new confession — they’ve been saying since last July that their goal was to get dirt but that they received a boring pitch about adoptions instead. 1/
Here are Don Jr’s two statements from last July — in the second one he confessed that the goal was to get dirt on Clinton. 2/

The Trump story about the Trump Tower meeting has remained pretty consistent since July 2017. The key questions are whether they’re lying about the content of the meeting or about what happened afterwards. 4/end

In light of AMI’s deal with DOJ to avoid prosecution for paying off Karen McDougal, I’m re-upping my old, speculative thread on Trump/Weinstein similarities in the dark arts of quashing scandals. Both used AMI CEO David Pecker to bury sex stories. Is there other overlap? 1/
Pecker tried to use "catch and kill" to bury stories about sexual assault allegations against Weinstein. Many women have accused Trump of the same. Did Pecker kill any of those stories like he did with McDougal? 2/
Jessica Drake reportedly signed an NDA to stay quiet about allegations that Trump kissed her against her will (and offered her $10K for sex, which she declined). Were there other such NDAs? Was David Pecker involved?

I didn't understand the importance of midterms. I was in college in NY, away from my home state of IL. I didn't know how I'd vote.

I told myself it didn't matter b/c both IL + NY are blue states, so my vote wouldn't make a difference, right?

If Success Rate is 0.5 and Reward Risk 2, Then

Expectancy = 2 x 0.5 =1

For Making Profit, Expectancy Should Be Positive Number (2/n)
To Calculate Expectancy, You Need Defined System With Rules To Get Success Rate and Reward Risk. If You Have No System To Take Decisions, You Are Hanging In Thin Air and Will Never No Whether You Will Keep Making Or Loosing Money In Future (3/n)

Recall that original explanation for this meeting, in statement from Don Jr that POTUS helped write was that this was "a short introductory meeting...primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children..." 1/
2/ "...that was active and popular with American families years ago and was since ended by the Russian government, but it was not a campaign issue at the time and there was no follow up..."
3/ "... I was asked to attend the meeting by an acquaintance, but was not told the name of the person I would be meeting with beforehand."

POTUS attorneys later called this misleading statement "short but accurate."

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).
