BREAKING Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R) said that he will not recuse himself from a potential recount effort in the state's GOP gubernatorial primary, despite being a candidate in the race. thehill.com/homenews/campa…
No law requires Kobach to recuse himself, but experts said that he "should do so to maintain trust in the election." Kobach, the state’s top election official, led Gov Colyer in the GOP primary by a mere 191 votes as of Wed morning. Kobach says he has no plans to recuse himself.
