Let's clarify some things. I'm all about outreach (specifically physics), intersectional feminism, equality, inclusivity, justice, rights of women/POC/URM/LGBTQIA+.
I will not condone sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, anti-LGBTQIA+, Islamophobia, or any form of hate.
Thank you ✌
You will hear a lot about physics from me, because it's something I love more than anything. But, as a woman, and a woman in STEM, the above mentioned things matter to me, and they matter *a lot*. So you'll hear about those, too.
What is life when one's gender dictates barriers created by society? What is life when the color of one's skin dictates quality of life? What is life when one realizes the gender they were assigned at birth isn't who they are, and they must face oppression because of it?
What is life when people are chastised simply for their religious beliefs? What is life when one is made to feel ashamed, oppressed, because their attraction isn't the heterosexual norm? What is life when the majority of the population on Earth faces some form of oppression?
I love physics more than anything, but I will not turn my cheek to the societal issues humans face. These issues are ones I also face, as a woman. If we turn our cheek, nothing changes. But if we call it out every single time, and fight, we can change the world. What will you do?
You will learn about cool physics from me on here, I love taking difficult concepts and breaking them down to make them easy to understand, and show you how awesome it is! (or enjoy some stuff I post, add your input, even correct me, if you're also a physicist)
But I'm also not going to blind myself to social issues, and you'll see lots of posts about them from me. I don't want to "leave it to the others" to make it a better world---I want to be a part of making it better.
