Yesterday, a couple of posters served up a trove of problematic statements and tweets from Siskind which included actively campaigning for Sarah Palin and against Obama.

I entirely advocate for accepting that people grow and evolve and change.
My politics have evolved over time. I see it as normal and logical that others' would too.
If we are to judge people by only a slice of their lives, I'd choose the present over the past.

With that said, thus far, Siskind has done more attacking of critics and snarking at people than taking ownership of where she was.
People are rightfully put off by things like her strong advocacy for the political dumdum gateway drug: Sarah Palin.
They were... not good.

I wholly applaud people who experience a personal evolution and can own where it began, the path it took and where it has landed them.
Thus far, I've only seen Siskind sniping at critics like @AngryBlackLady and rejecting the criticism despite its fairness.
