full disclosure, I was technically incorrect here, the word does occur in the DSM-5. but blanchard's typology HAS been discredited and replaced with a more nuanced model that reflects the reality of transition
to paraphrase: if you dress like a woman because you feel like it, and it's not interfering with your life, you're not an autogynephile

and even if it IS a fetish for you, and it causes you distress, that doesn't mean you're not trans, and if you want to transition, it will help
which, incidentally, is what I've been saying all along

as a trans woman, I've had a lot of people (even well-meaning allies!) tell me that no matter what I do, no matter how much I change my body, I'll always be male. and that it's not transphobic to say so. it's just science, after all.

let's talk about that.
the short answer is: yes it's transphobic, because I'm trans and I'm telling you so.

that's how it works for any marginalized group you don't belong to. we're more aware of what language is harmful to us than you are, and we don't always have the energy to explain
after all, I wouldn't even bring it up if it wasn't a problem, would I?

when someone says "ow, you're standing on my foot", your first response should be to move your damn foot, not say "but I'm not putting all my weight on it!"

realtalk: I, a trans lesbian, have turned down several trans women because I perceived them as being masculine in ways that I found unappealing. that's not transphobic. that's what an ACTUAL "personal preference" looks like

(and I didn't say that was why, because that'd be rude)
heck, once I've spent more time in the community, I fully expect to end up turning down some cis lesbians for the same reason. I love butches but not all of them are my type, y'know?
(also if you're reading this and I've turned you down in the past, don't assume that was why, I turn people down for all kinds of reasons)

btw, if this thread resonated with you and you still have a problem with phrases like "bisexual lesbian" or "pansexual lesbian", you missed the point

you can't approve of where I'm at without accepting how I got here
I say this because I and several of my mutuals have been harassed today for defending the use of such phrases. so once more,
I'm not even a huge fan of "bisexual lesbian" but the fact is that many women who are technically bisexual still call themselves lesbians, and have very good reasons for doing so, and it's pointless to attack them for it or try to cover it up

1. I have been kind of light on analysis recently for one simple reason:

I have no clue what the hell is going on.
2. We have moved out of the realm of documents and testimonies, and into a shadowy fog of propaganda - a DisInfoWar.
3. The good thing is, pretty much nobody else in the world has a fucking clue either. Probably less than 100 out of 7+ Billion have a real idea of what’s happening.

OK so the fight between Michael Avenatti and Michael Cohen’s lawyer and President Trump’s lawyer was VICIOUS. Cohen’s lawyer Steve Ryan called Avenatti’s release of Cohen’s financial info as “a premeditated drive-by shooting of my client’s rights”
“I’ve practiced law for 37 years and never risen to oppose a pro hac vice application” said Ryan (which is when a lawyer applies to be admitted in a jurisdiction they’re not licensed to practice, which is what Avenatti is trying to do in this case).

#b 'Teknik menjawab' is not a series of rituals that you carry out to secure an A in the exam. You don't get guaranteed an A just through superficial actions like highlighting keywords or drawing meniscus or inserting isi tersirat.
The problem is students and teachers treat teknik menjawab as some sort of pseudo magical ritualistic gestures that will bring a certain outcome. Draw a pentagram, slaughter a chicken, and your wish will be granted.
Some remote Pacific Islanders in 1940s came in contact with Allied and Japanese soldiers who were more technologically advanced and thought the soldiers were gods who had many "cargo" (canned food, electronics, modern stuff)
