Should i make a thread on how i lose 40kg(88lbs) of my body weight in 10 months ? My sister’s been asking me to do so
Alright then , here it goes
It all started when i first have problems walking because my foot was aching for no reason . So i decided to go get it check and here i thought it was only gout but it turns out it was not . The doctor said “ this is not gout , you’re too fat!! ” 😂
I got to be honest here , i was hurt hearing him say that but it was the truth tho 😅 . “Your foot can’t coop with your body weight , that’s why your foot hurt . You gotta lose some weight if you don’t want any problems walking long distances “ sampai mcm tu haaaa
And on my way back home with my foot aching as hell and some medicine within the grips of my hand , i was silent in the car and not saying a single thing. Thinking of why did i did this to myself and i felt disappointed
And from there i started doing some research(youtube) on how can i lose some weight effectively. It turns out I’ve been stress eating and to be able to lose weight i got to look at what i eat because 80% of your weight depends on your eating habits
This is what i did for me to lose weight .
I cut off my sugars , salt , rice , oily foods and process food and never to forget the malaysian favourite , coconut milk (santan) . i replaced them with good healthy meals that i made myself by some recipes from pinterest
I started scheduling my meal plan
Breakfast- 4 egg whites 1 whole eggs , steamed vegetables ( broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) & potato mash
Lunch - sweet potato(baked) , stir fried vegetables and lemon chicken
Dinner - rolled oats cooked with honey , peanut butter(unsugared) , almond nuts and low fat milk served with some fruits ( i mostly use apples sometimes any types of multberries)
Snacks- fruits like green apples , bananas , strawberries if you were able to get them cheap .
I eat around 5-6 times a day (3 heavy meals , 3 snacks) during when I’m dieting till now and it has never bore my once and I never had a cheat meal 😉. If you want to lose weight , you got to know what you put in your body and learn how to cook and eat healthy
For the exercises , i workout about 5 times per week
Mondays- back
Tuesdays-chest
Wednesday- legs
Thursday- shoulders
Fridays-arms & abs
I always do some cardio either running on the treadmill or cycling for about 20-40 minutes after each workout and i went for jog on Saturday
One of my recommended channels to follow on youtube is Athlean-X as the guy is more focus on targeting specific muscle groups and doing exercises in a proper form rather than swinging weight or “cheat curling” . Be sure to check him out for some exercises
I’ve been doing this for over a year now and I was able to drop my waist size from a 44 to a solid 30 and I pretty much turn myself into a gymrat 🤣😅but that’s alright , as long as I’m happy with myself .
working out at the gym has been must . I can’t sit still if I didn’t go
Too all who wants to lose weight
Remember the three key elements
Diet , Weight Training , Cardio
Always watch what you eat and try to eat healthy . God gave you only one body to cherish, take good care of it and don’t destroy it by stuffing yourself with late night meals.
