Just imagine @BarryGardiner that this country is thrown into economic chaos and terminal decline as a result of a referendum beset with unlawful practices invalidating its outcome.
Just imagine @BarryGardiner that had the people been given a chance to vote on the outcome of the negotiations (deal or no deal) they would have overwhelming rejected it and opted to remain in the EU.
Just imagine @BarryGardiner that more than 80% of 18-24 year-olds want to remain in the EU but lose their rights and future prospects because you refused to back #PeoplesVote
Just imagine.

You would deny the people a choice.

You are either an anti-democrat or a fool.

Or perhaps you are simply safeguarding your position in Corbyn's Tory-backing Brexit cabinet, hoping one day to step into Ministerial office?

@AndrewMarr9 @MarrShow - you will recall about a year ago mentioning a letter I wrote to the PM asking her to disclose the advice she had received that Article 50 was unilaterally revocable. She refused to do so and paid 5 QCs to try and stop the ECJ ruling on the point. Why?
Please ask her why she would prefer to risk people's lives, stockpile food, send 1000 police to Northern Ireland, spend millions on fridges rather than revoke Article 50? Please ask her how badly no deal compares with remaining in the EU?
Please ask her whether she thinks if the referendum had been between a no deal scenario and remaining, 'no deal' would have won? If she is sure it would be no deal please ask her why?

Note that the Electoral Commission only opened its investigation into 'Better for the Country'- Arron Banks' outfit - after @GoodLawProject issued judicial review proceedings against it concerning decision to close its investigation into Vote Leave on 24 October 17 1/
In that claim @GoodLawProject noted the failure of the Electoral Commission to make the relevant connections - see image.

Paper by amongst other @DanielJHannan for Cato Institute (see TPA, IEA etc - same bods). The essential hypothesis is that if you can't get achieve a reciprocal dropping of trade barriers, it's still better to drop them unilaterally even if this costs jobs in your country.
The proposal is that the UK opens its market, including the NHS, entirely to the U.S.

Hallelujah. Looking forward to making the pro free movement argument with you during the #Referendum. Any #PeoplesVote campaign that doesn’t argue for it - albeit properly managed - will alienate the pro European grassroots whose support and energy they will need.
We have hundreds of @BritishInEurope case studies of people from ordinary families who used free movement to build better lives for themselves. And examples of how other EU countries manage it under EU law. We’re a resource, not just an advocacy group. Use us.

Imagine for a moment that you are trying to explain UK politics and Brexit to a visitor who has no experience of either. /1
First, you have a referendum which was promised by a party who won an election. Fine. But there is no planning for one outcome of the election, despite the same government having had a recent close call with another referendum (Indyref) showing how close they can be. /2
One campaign is led by a man who decides at the last minute that he will support this side, having previously identified (and done speeches, TV programmes and books to prove it) for the other side. /3
