President Trump is once again asking the Justice Department to conduct investigations of his political opponents. "Come on Jeff, you can do it." 
Technically, Sessions *can't* do it because he's recused from most of these subjects.
The president is (again) calling on DOJ to investigate things that it is currently investigating. The IG confirmed in March that it's looking at the Carter Page FISA application, the FBI's relationship with Steele and more.
