Suppose she does.
Partition the UK, DUP quits, Booby Johnson mutiny, May resigns. General election.
Partition Ireland, no consent from Ireland, no withdrawal agreement, May resigns.
So what happens if she doesn't produce a withdrawal agreement?
The economy fails, her government collapses, May resigns in chaos and disgrace. Be like the 1970s.
Is there a third possibility? Hm . . . In her head there's a third possibility, but not a viable one in real life.
It's like this . . .
She imagines there is no withdrawal agreement, but the European Union furnishes her with a new treaty that bypasses the exit process.
This treaty would allow her to be in the European Union while being free of its obligations.
But because Theresa May is an embittered racist who treats international law as a game, she thinks she is going to be presented with a treaty of her own complexion.
She is way out of her depth, and whatever the Tories tell you, whatever the blab of their media henches, her resignation is inevitable.
If the Tories wait till February, they will lose the election, and the union will break up.
If they even remotely try an election this November, they have to decide that by this time next week.
They've got one week to decide. Brexit or union. They can't have both.
