This is just so appalling that I don’t even know how to react. 
If you follow me, then you’ve seen my tweets (and RTs of @TomNamako and others) detailing how @nidhiprakash has been following the story of Maria — and the death toll issues — for the past year. For the president the say this in the face of that reporting is both a lie and cruel.
We have actual, real-time reporting that the early numbers were an obvious lie. The PR govt has, effectively, acknowledged that with its recent work. Now, the president — with no evidence — says that both of those are not real. Absurd.
