I was conflicted about posting this latest Star Citizen bit because I tend to shy away from anything that has anything to do with people losing their jobs. But this is Star Citizen and they're all knowingly working on an active scam, so all bets are off.
At 6:15am I woke up to an alarming secure message from one of my top sources (who is sadly leaving). It was rather long, but the gist of it is that the general consensus is that the project is doomed, they ALL know it.
Several "top" people have already got their exit plans.
Though people have been leaving or terminated since Dec 2017, the mass exit event is now a "sad reality" and will most likely come after the holiday live stream in Dec.

They are said to be basically working on the "last hurrah" of hype that's for the upcoming CitizenCon (Oct) and the holiday live stream (Dec). All the same hype of stuff that's not likely to ever see the light of day.
The person even gave examples of this sort of thing which we've already been aware of.

So basically, they're about to do the SAME things they've done in the past, geared to keep ripping off backers (at least those dumb enough to still keep giving them money) as they continue to kick the dev can down the road with scope creep.
