Maybe humans love to be outraged simply because, on average, it happens to be a convenient way to channel the energy we should be using to create, make and grow, but likely are procrastinating on or denying.

It’s an “acceptable” way to access to our unexpressed lives and energy.
Being outraged or angry is particularly enjoyable because it is directed externally.

It’s always about someone else or something else. And never about you.

So it provides a low risk environment to express energy that is otherwise hidden below the surface.

It keeps you safe.
We’re all guilty of this, probably, on some level. And some things are legitimately worth being emotional about.

But the more I find myself getting lost in outrage over others, I feel less aware and accountable.

It seems to be a dangerous trick to play on yourself repeatedly
The more we live in a media saturated society, the more opportunities we are given to be upset or angry at any given moment.

I worry that brilliant, creative minds are being ruined by a limitless, perpetual sea of anger and outrage.

We need leaders. Artists. Thinkers. Builders
Please consider whether your energy is being used to it’s highest service or if it is being hijacked by the constant stream of information, interaction, and general noise of the world.

It’s something I need to work on too.

That’s it.
No “advice”.
Hope you will think about it.
