Dylan Strain's interview about Rosie Duffield is more Partridge than Partridge but important still: 18 other members signed the censure because they believe on some level by sticking up for Jews, Rosie Duffield is "more an MP for Israel than Canterbury" 1/
2/ No matter in her 1st year as an MP she'd spoken out & condemned Israeli policy in Parliament. As Mr. Strain says, it was "just too much" that she went to - what the censure called - a "groundless" Jewish anti-racism demo to stand along alongside Jews, inc a Holocaust survivor.
Because as the censure says "involving herself" with the Jewish Labour Movement -

(in which the vast vast majority of Jews in and around Labour and all Jewish Labour MP's are members of)

- is just off the hook, lads.
But worse than that, Rosie Duffield has also been seen...

(and hold on to your hats here)

in public...

(it is actually quite bad)

speaking with...

(strap in)

A female Jew.

"Just awful."
Feels like a grown up version of a racist schoolyard game, Touch A Jew, for which you become contaminated should you come into contact with one.

And some people wonder (and deny) why female Jewish MP's need police protection.
Back in the real world it gets worse...

As the brightest and best of Novara told you, there wasn't that much wrong with the actual censure itself,
main thing: it was "strategically" a bad move.

All in a storm in teacup.

Thank goodness 😅
Meanwhile at the top... in an interview for BBC South East, Jeremy Corbyn offers Rosie Duffield support but flat out refuses to condemn the actual censure.

Not even a tiny bit.

No dice.

(Certainly no dredl)

A Corbyn spin doctor interrupts the interview as they both try to undefly pull a slight of hand by saying it was only "two people" involved when they both knew full well 19 members signed it (including Mr Strain) the interviewer knew this though & broke their balls. Good for her.
But Corbyn said *nothing* to make any of those 19 members to think twice about signing a motion - which if followed to the letter - would see a Labour MP have to sever all contact with all Jewish Labour MP's, nearly all Jewish elected officals and most Jews in and around Labour.
And that's why they're still doing it.

The censure is a great example of how an antisemitic culture perculates: from the grassroots, sanitised by new-left media, then the leadership looks the other way.

This problem isn't going away.
