Have been talking non-stop about how women’s anger is treated as both laughable and infantile. Thanks Orrin Hatch, for continuing to be a walking fucking advertisement for my book.
A reminder that 27 years ago, Hatch called Anita Hill’s story “too contrived...so slick it doesn't compute” and suggested that she borrowed it from the Exorcist.

This is power dynamic I write about in Good & Mad. @Ocasio2018’s civic participation gets framed as problematic, eruptive. But 5 white guys come for Pelosi from right & it’s just a tactical move. Women’s raised voices are problematic, men’s are comprehensibly professional.
More than comprehensibly professional: some people are granted political validity at the outset. Others are understood as chaotic, divisive, suspect and disruptive to legitimate politics.

I know that this race is too close to call but I just have to say that McBath’s path here, the fact that she is this close to victory on GA-6, is astounding. This is the district Jon Ossoff could not win. Dems! Get behind women of color!

Also every white guy currently explaining the (extremely real) villainy of white women to me can take a seat until they’ve come to collect Joe Manchin, almost all of the Republican Party, and the vastest share of Trump’s base.
To be clear, that is not letting Collins, 53% of white women & MANY generations of their forebears off the hook! My new book is in part about ww’s eagerness to support a white capitalist patriarchy & in doing so leave their sisters to suffer. Which is what Susan Collins just did.
No wait, clearer: Not just leaving sisters to suffer. Actively participating in the further oppression and subjugation of people of color, women and men. But be clear—white women aren’t coming up with this horror all by their lonesome.

I've been in the RP scene for a few years. With practice and time, I've internalized a lot of the info that I've consumed. It's mostly second nature by now (still far from perfect obviously).

However...I recently conducted a (foolish) experiment.

Being blatantly blue pill:
It's going to be a long story, but here's how it went:

As I've tweeted before, I was just in Spain. Living the good life. And I found myself in an interesting situation.

I was "the other guy" for a very attractive girl in Madrid (LDR in London).
This went on for a few weeks. Morally, I had 0 problem with it.

Anyway, the guy found out, got pissed, & removed himself from the picture (as far as I know. No reason to believe that that was a lie because it wouldn't have changed anything, although girls lie about dumb shit).
