I've made several changes this month

- 2 new niches sites
- 3 new VAs
- Cutting daily emails down to 3
- Increase focused on paid group coaching
- Updated positioning

And more..

But I don't consider them changes

The point is to continuously EVOLVE over time
A lot of young people and new business owners get stagnant

You're not consciously evolving or growing

It's not going to happen every day

And a year is too long for a meaningful feedback loop

But I'm sure you can make progress every single week

Yes - EVERY week
Birthdays are only once a year

New Year's is only once a year

Summer is only once a year

We like to think about our lives during these events

But they don't happen often

Shorter feedback loops will force you to grow faster

THREAD // Making Friends Is Easier Than You Think

Had a great time with @MyLatinLife @NomadicHustler and @_RobORourke at dinner last night

It's easy when you're in school

But a lot of people seem to have trouble making new friends as they get older
The school environment is conducive to friendship because you spend so much time together

You share classes, activities and meals together so it's easy to find your tribe

Because you're younger, your standards are also low

You haven't refined who you are and what you want
As you get older and finish school, you're not really forced to be anywhere except work (if you work in an office)

A lot of people struggle with making new friends because they don't SEEK OUT additional activities that put them in environments where they can make friends

Reading Fear, I considered something: American politicians - at least the sane ones - always say that we need to find common ground with people across the aisle. So I thought about it: what, exactly, would that common ground be for me?
I realized something: I have almost absolutely no common ground whatsoever with modern conservatives. None. Across the board of issues, I cannot think of a single thing that I agree with even moderate conservatives on.
I believe in government by the people, of the people and for the people. Not for corporations, not for capitalists, not for the markets. The economy is the tool of human happiness, not the other way around. That is no longer the case.

i want to talk about why interests branded as "feminine" are considered "lesser" interests. because it's something not only woven deeply into our society, but something that affects the way men view women & often the way women view themselves. AHEM:
a scenario: a fan is gearing up for a big event. they make their own t-shirt to wear. make a sign to hold up. spend a nice amount of money on tickets. on the day of, they yell with excitement and involvement, having the time of their life.
one is a woman going to a boyband concert. her favorite band, she knows every word to every song. another is a man going to a football game. his favorite team, he knows the stats of every player. guess which one of these interests is considered lesser than the other?

A little thread here about potential problems for SME's in a No Deal scenario.

We import some components from the Far East and receive these 5 to 10 times every year. We have to pay import duties and VAT when they arrive, which can cause serious cash flow problems /1
We pay our domestic VAT quarterly in arrears. It also means we have to be able to pay this immediately as soon as the ship docks, otherwise the shipping agent will not release the goods and will charge storage charges. /2
The shipping agent can defer the payment of the upfront VAT, but we are still asked to pay it to the agent upfront, so that doesn't help. We can ask to get a deferment account, a DAN, with HMRC which means the VAT will be paid quarterly, with domestic VAT, so we did that. /3

ICE is simply a translation service for policies and procedures designed by politicians from both major parties; holding ICE agents solely responsible is disingenuous - revise those laws first to ensure that any ICE replacement is guided by “something that reflects our morality”.

3/ When entering a #trade, have targets and a stop loss order

There is nothing more for you to do. There are two outcomes:

-you being stopped out
-you reaching your target

either is fine

realizing losses > being a bagholder
realized profits > unrealized profits
