jason is mid-meltdown over on gab, but there is an important point here -- i've spent a significant portion of the past year sitting in courtrooms for arraignments, trials, sentencings, you name, it for folks across the political spectrum.
fascists don't do court support.

white supremacists, white nationalists, white identitarians, fascists, nazis, klansmen, whatever flavor of shit you can think of -- no one comes to support them. there is no solidarity, no love, no support for one another as comrades in the struggle.

because their movement is about hate. the reason they don't support each other when times get tough is the same reason jason failed to 'unite the right' - you cannot unite something that is inherently about division. there is no solidarity in shared hatred.

but those of us united in the struggle for our collective liberation? we show up. we've waited outside the jail for hours in the rain for the release of those the state took from us. we've rallied in snow and extreme heat. we've stood on the courthouse steps a thousand times.

we make signs together, chant, sing, hold banners, hold press conferences. we've worn pink for veronica and our fanciest shoes for donna. we marched for corey. we marched for deandre. we show up.

not one of us will ever face a judge in open court without comrades in the gallery & the streets. this matters. we keep us safe & we keep us whole.
it must genuinely hurt to see how much we love each other & to feel so alone.
