It is very frustrating to watch my traffic go from 300 unique visitors a day down to 20. Over the past 3 days google has unindex all of my articles. I wish I could say something clever but this is devastating. I'm supposed to be patient. It's been a year now and it's all gone.
Some of my articles are upwards of 90 hours of research, like the CDC article back in January. So much work goes into them. I claw for the 40 subscribers I have now. I know the web is saturated with writers. I feel like my audience is out there but there's always a gatekeeper.
Does anyone have any feedback they'd like to give me about what I could be doing better? Too long? too short? too much mutilation? I'd love to stay at this but I'm only gaining one subscriber a week. I can't trust google, twitter, anymore for an audience. It's just too dangerous.
