If you read <somewhat> between the lines, Satya at MSFT usually shares worthy insight into MSFT's strategy.

Of course... all CEO's market their stock... but even so here are some useful if rudimentary ideas from MSFT's Q1 19 call. Some are even accurate!
1/
Scale/Scope - MSFT is more secure because we see more threats/can learn quicker, &c
..and we do identity too - tho as my wise friend <locked> points out, MSFT can't be neutral which may constrain this feature in a multi-cloud world
2/
Scale/Scope/Bundling - it's easier, 'safer' [selling via fear?] and good enough to use Teams with the rest of your MSFT suite than [say] Slack. This from the past masters of bundling via dos/windows...
3/
Azure Scale + Bundling
4/
Azure - bundling via hybrid architecture
5/
@github is one of the big SAAS opportunities
[surprised me, wonder if/how this could play out]
6/
And... things are going so well even @bing revenue is accelerating [bing style!].
