2/ There were several moments early on, in the lead up to the WW2 when lines were crossed in Europe by the rise of the fascist right. In the US, unbelievably several lines now have been crossed and still little is being done

3/ Much like right now, there was not somehow millions of fascists let loose on the world. There were relatively few hardcore fascists, certainly in the beginning. The huge numbers were made up by ordinary German Citizens,
4/ taken in by the lies & propaganda of Hitler and his cronies. Because of poverty, inequality, fallout from WW1, social hardship etc they were all too keen to accept that the Nazi's chosen enemies were the cause of all their problems. That same thing has been happening,
5/ for years with the right wing, right now. AT ALL LEVELS. That means the @GOP. They have systematically, in all western countries, with their use of lies and propaganda, presented to the public, their chosen demons, as the cause of all yours and the worlds problems. They are,
6/ as is always the case, picking the least able to defend themselves. Minorities, immigrants, the poor, people of different religions and colours. It's the same thing and it's been going on for decades if not longer. Be under no illusion,
7/ this rise of fascism is not an anomaly. The rise of Trump is not an anomaly. The rise of violence and hatred is not an anomaly. It is the central play of the right wing, division, false blame, persecution of those least responsible. That fascism has reached the Oval Office,
8/ should have the politicians, the entire US and the whole world alarmed beyond belief. Yet there is muted response from all corners, it's astonishing. World leaders are acting like everything is, if not normal, at least acceptable. It isn't,
9/ stop appeasing Trump and his enablers for political gain, and stand up to this serious threat. In the end, during WW2, through war and millions of deaths it all had to stopped with violence. Act now so we don't end up going down the same road again. This,
