THREAD. In light of his social media relationship with the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter, I’m going to provide some background on Danny McMahon AKA Jack Corbin, the fascist who has been harassing @UNC anti-racists. CW: extreme racism, anti-Semitism, homophobia, misogyny. 1/
What does he believe? Jack is a self-described fascist. He objects to the ‘socialism’ part of national socialism, but seems fine with the genocide part. Won’t subject you to his mockery of Holocaust victims or torture fantasies, so here’s a basic shot that proves the point. 2/ 
On National Coming Out Day, Jack Corbin praised the Pulse Night Club shooter. 3/
On multiple occasions, he expressed support for James Alex Fields, who murdered counter-protester Heather Heyer and injured many others in Charlottesville. Corbin suggested Fields should deal with the migrant caravan that was also the subject of the synagogue shooter’s hatred. 4/

Jack knows it’s illegal to make threats online, so he tried to cover himself by referencing “stand your ground” in a post about UNC (right). If you check out his other posts, you can see he has a terrifyingly poor understanding of what that law actually means (left). 7/
After watching video of our James Cates memorial service before Maya's Honor Court trial, a Gab poster expressed hope that UNC anti-racists would “feel the goddamn boot on their necks,” Jack then encouraged him to counter-protest our courthouse solidarity on Nov 5. 8/
Today, Jack only expressed regret about one thing: that the synagogue shooter may never be free again. The ‘real' tragedy, he claimed, was the murderer’s mental state. No Jack, it’s that people were gunned down in cold blood for practicing their religion. 9/

Jack Corbin created a twitter account today to harass women and anti-racists (many in the NC Research Triangle). Sent me a bunch of pathetic replies claiming his genocidal rhetoric is totally non-violent. Then he wrote this on Gab. Robert Bowers murdered 11 people yesterday. 12/
