Speaking to The Times yesterday, Arron Banks denied wrongdoing, denied anyone else - including anyone foreign - contributed to those loans. Everything was legal and signed off by a QC. He refused to engage in specifics of the UK vs Isle of Mann company
Furthermore, Banks' spokesman Andy Wigmore said distinction btwn the UK 'Rock Services' & Isle of Mann 'Rock Holdings' "makes no difference as Arron is a UK taxpayer any loans or transaction brought into the UK has to comply with UK tax law... he is sole owner of both companies"

A decision hasn’t been made yet

It partly depends on whether the Commons sits next Friday and Tories have a three line whip to attend the brexit debate - which is unusual
2. Theresa May wants to focus briefing on domestic issues - the NHS? - this weekend

I’m told one advanced plan is for May to appear on the @AndrewMarr9 on BBC 1 on Sunday to launch the 10 year NHS plan, spelling out how the ££ announced over the summer will be spent.

The UK government and its allies are holding responsible elements of the Chinese government for an extensive cyber campaign targeting commercial secrets around the world.
Along with its allies, the UK has announced that a group known as APT 10 acted on behalf of the Chinese Ministry of State Security to carry out a malicious cyber campaign targeting intellectual property and sensitive commercial data in Europe, Asia and the US.
"This campaign shows that elements of the Chinese government are not upholding the commitments China made directly to the UK in a 2015 bilateral agreement. It is also inconsistent with G20 commitments"

The Summary Grounds of Resistance (SGR) tries usual tricks to prevent a claim from getting permission.
1. Time
2. Unarguable
3. Non-justiciable
Each resistance can be strongly refuted by the Claimant; I'll deal with them briefly... /2
Time: @theresa_may first asserts the claim is out of time because it needed to be brought within times ranging from 21 days to 6 weeks. These timing claims originate from Sch 3 of EURA 2015 & the Representation of the People Act 1983. Both can be heavily contested. /3

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).
