HSBC left because of their internal issues; scandals and lots of ongoing investigations. Anyone who tries to pin it on the Nigerian economy IS LYING TO YOU.
When they wail about HSBC & UBS ask; do you have an account with them? Before this news, did you ever hear of them(maybe HSBC). Have you done a transfer to any account in these banks? Is there any branch in your state? Do you know anyone who works in either of these banks?
Meanwhile more banks and foreign businesses are coming into Nigeria

I noticed many people believed that the exit of @HSBC & @UBS from Nigeria is because of the effectiveness of the ongoing war on corruption. It's not true, do not be deceived. Their exit from our country is not a good pointer to the confidence in our economy.

The only standing power, with resources, military, and money is the U.S. Europe need to rebuild its infrastructure and institutions. So a meeting was convened at Bretton Woods, New Hampshire for a Monetary and Financial Conference. The U.S wanted to help Europe rebuild.

1. Real reasons HBSC & UBS pulled out.
People hav bin screaming about the exit of HSBC & UBS as sign of bad Economy. That's a HUGE LIE. I will try to explain it in a very simple way.
HSBC & UBS were never set up 4 regular banking. When I say regular banking I mean retail banking.

 They never ran salary accounts; they were never set up to afford loans to customers etc. Their sole purpose was to help customers who can afford their services an Easy Way to TRANSFER funds overseas.
Many do not know that since the inception of BVN which has made it easier...

 for financial regulatory bodies to monitor outflow & inflow on every account, HSBC has been plotting their exit.
If anyone can make their books public, you will find out HSBC has more outflow than inflow.
BVN was created February 2014, and then enforced by this current Govt...

With deep regret we wish to highlight the grave mendacity expressed by the aberration stampeded to power on the exit of HSBC & UBS. These are prestigious institutions perceived to be money launderers by perjurers & uncouth illiterates, who forge certificates without shame.
Why would any sane Government sponsor propaganda to cover up the shame of the exit of prestigious institution signifying a deathblow on Foreign Direct (domestic) Investment (FDI)? This is inflow of funds that we desperately need as a developing Nation.
