(2) POTUS wanted a full national parade in DC to honor those who served and sacrificed from freedom in WWI, but instead he will take part in the French commemorations.
Boise knows how important that war was for freedom in the USA. No question about it.

(3) This photo got me interested in covering the #WWIcentenary events. A Doge lookalike in Boise, where the #VeteransDayParade was held a week early on November 3rd.
(4) Since Veterans Day this year falls on a Sunday, the observance of it will be on Monday 12th, and events will be spread over both days. Lots of details here:

Granted, I don't think there will be a great many lives lost in the Space Force, given that much of the activity can be done without people out there. And the USCG isn't there so, maybe we need an additional memorial?

(6) As much as I enjoy correcting people about the difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day, this year it's a bit different, because we are honoring the WWI dead as well as the veterans of all wars and military service. #ThankYouForYourService
