Just extraordinary. We watched him fail, over and over again. in govt. And now he turns around and get to be the opposition to his own inadequacies.

Davis just said some countries trade "more successfully than we do" with the EU under WTO rules. The man is a moron.
Final note on this absolute shitshow of an interview. It was a nice try to have the BBC's (utterly brilliant) Chris Morris step in occasionally to show how trade/EU/law etc really works, but it didn't quite take.
The reason is that it sounded like he was the balance pundit and was mostly ignored by Humphrys. Far preferable to have him on at the start and the end.
Basically to say how things really are. There is no need to allow Davis the chance to counter him. He is expressing objective reality. He should get to give the final call on the validity or otherwise of what the politician just said.
