JEEZUS. I know this sounds like I'm just fluffing you folks but I literally cannot keep up with all the cool stuff behind the scenes at ICC. pretty sure the Books On Deck list just sailed past 50 titles for the next 2-3 years...
I keep going "Oh, THIS is gonna be the BIG title of 20XX!" but then I remember another one I'm excited about, so no, maybe THAT one's gonna be the big title. or maybe THAT one?

And frankly, the current environment makes it so easy. It's just a FIREHOSE of casually amazing talent out there, in all genres, from kids' books to erotica. This is a very good time to be a publisher, honestly.
Everyone's choices are partially luck, it's true, but what we call luck is often Timing Meeting Preparation. and Kickstarter came around at the exact right point for me, and it coincided with the rebirth of the comics industry perfectly. The planets really aligned.
