This is the same teacher with the same story who gives a "case study" for the transgender trend school pack "A teacher's testimony". I recall that a teacher wrote the introduction to the pack, I think it is pretty clear this is the same individual. (Then there were 14 kids) 2/ 
The same teacher (head of year, science teacher at a large comprehensive) wrote a blog for Transgender Trend (Titled dilemma of teachers - I'm not linking) in July 2017. Then she claimed that every trans boy or demi girl in her school had diagnosed aspergers or experienced CSA 3/
She's also the same teacher, (head of year at a secondary school, quoted alongside transgender trend) in a particularly transphobic @guardian piece from May 2018. There were 12 children then, this time "The majority have autism, & some have experienced sexual abuse." 4/
Likely the same (secondary, science) teacher regularly posting on Mumsnet who compares being asked to teach human biology which even acknowledges anything beyond XX = female and XY = Male as "Nazi Race Science" 5/
So the number of young people vary wildly (now including all students wearing Doc Martin's), timelines are all over the place (16 in 2014 is 20) & her diagnosis are similarly flexible. The one consistency is a fear she "will be sacked one day"- Here's hoping that at least is true
I don't doubt that there are large comprehensive schools in cities, with 17 trans kids representing somewhere between 0.5-1% of students. I think though this teacher is seeing trans kids everywhere she looks, apparently all it takes is large glasses, some DM's and a blonde quiff.
