Last week I debated the founder of UKIP, @profsked on LBC. The host, @TomSwarbrick1, managed to redefine false equivalence.
I bet you won't make it through this without shouting. (I start at 2:00)
Apparently @Will_DryOFOC has been in a debate (if we can call it that) with him before, and was absolutely disgusted to even hear his voice again. He walked out of the room before the video was finished. 😂

I don't have a party to run / election to win, so maybe it's rich of me to stand on principle; maybe I'm naive, but...
I'm not willing to pretend that a good Brexit deal is possible just because I'm scared people (who I should have won over on Brexit) might think I'm ruining it.
I get why some might choose that due to their own strategic priorities. But if we go down the path of "keep trying Brexit until every last person is convinced it can't work":
a) We risk crashing out.
b) People would blame the EU not Brexit #HowWeGotInThisMess
c) It's dishonest
🔻The Tories want to endanger the Belfast Agreement which the EU won't allow. And even this Brexit will be rejected.
🔻Labour's Brexit must meet the 6 tests. That means Single Market & Customs Union. Parliament would never approve that for the same reasons we're stuck now.

I am naturally blocked by ‘freedom of speech lover’ #UKIP #Farage but I wonder if he can answer follow questions:

1. Did he have nicer time in Moscow in December of 2014, or May 2015?
2. Was RT still paying him £2,000 a pop in 2018, just like in 2010 or they adjusted the payments for inflation?
3. Was he furious that even Putin had to use Arron Banks to channel the payments because he feared Nigel Farage would just pocket the money, like he did with every other UKIP donor before him?

1/ What would I do different if I were the CEO of @KelloggsUS …? (or really any other CPG giant that keeps selling biggER, sweatER, bubbliER, softER, shiniER, versions of the same product year after year)
2/ Caveat #1: I’m the CEO of a 65-person, privately held, technology co. @CircleUp. I have a tremendous amount of respect for CEOs of public companies and have no illusions about being an expert in delivering value to short-sighted shareholders.
3/ Caveat #2: It’s easy to bash slow-moving co's, esp when their sales have basically flatlined for 10+ years and they’ve had the same tiger with a bandana as their mascot since 1952. I’ll do a bit of that....but mostly want to offer up solutions. (I do like the bandana though)

1) I'm back. You may have noticed I've been suspiciously absent lately. Only a tweet here and there the last week.

I debated about explaining my relative absence, then reminded myself I'd always reveal when anything came up to help smash the stigma.

2) Let me remind you I'm Bipolar type 2. Hypomanic. I'm very well managed on my meds, and having been a Nurse for so many years, I'm a fanatic about taking my meds, I never miss a dose unless it's beyond my control.

3) Many bipolars are noncompliant with meds bc they like the feeling of their mania. They feel energized, in control of the world, able to accomplish anything. People often don't sleep much during a manic phase, feel focused even though they're scattered.
