Crump says EJ Bradford was a caretaker to his father, a former Bham jail employee who is retired and battling cancer.

Crump: The family found out through social media that Bradford had been killed and had been labeled the killer.
Crump says several witnesses have come forward and told the family the police officer who killed Bradford at the mall didn’t give any verbal commands to #EJBradford before shooting him in the face.

She is taken away “overcome with grief,” Crump says. Other family members are fighting back tears.
Crump: The police officer who shot Bradford was an off-duty officer working security. “They offered him no medical assistance” after the shooting.
