So in January of this year @UKLabour's Shadow Secretary of State for Education @AngelaRayner decided to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day by re-posting an article she wrote in 2015 in which she references Norman Finkelstein's "seminal book The Holocaust Industry"..... 
That's right, a member of @UKLabour's front bench commemorated the Holocaust by referencing a book titled "The Holocaust Industry". The original article can be accessed here: unisonnw.org/inside-the-fac…. Below will outline a bit about the book, the author and its reception in 2000...
The driving thought behind the book essentially argues that American-Jewish groups have exploited collective guilt in order to gain political advantage, deflect criticism of Israel, and to make money out of the genocide.
In the book, Finkelstein describes notorious British holocaust denier David Irving as having made an "indispensable contribution to our knowledge of World War II"....
German holocaust denier Ernst Zündel said of the book that "Finkelstein continues his one-man intifada against the Holocaust establishment and vigorously attacks the Holocaust profiteers [in his] ever-so-feisty volume"
In 2000, a piece in the New York Times (@NYTimes) described the book as "irrational and insidious". @Freedland described Finkelstein as having done "the anti-semites work for them".
The author Paul Bogdanor says that "Finkelstein enjoys cordial relations with neo-Nazis, grants them interviews, allows his books and articles to be posted on their websites, dismisses the findings of legitimate Holocaust historians while heaping praise on the deniers...
... and repeatedly insists that the deniers’ positions are entirely reasonable, in the light of “profiteering” and “hucksterism” of the privileged Jewish elite"
So a few questions for @AngelaRayner to answer. Have you read the book? Do you agree with the content of the book? Was it appropriate to reference the book in a post about Holocaust Memorial Day and then re-post it as MP? Will you apologise?
