Ongoing foreign manipulation amplifying the #GiletsJaunes mouvement
Literally one of the first accounts popping up when looking at #GiletsJaunes is some kind of bot pushing RT propaganda, account created less than a month ago. There are plenty of these "agitator accounts" out there trying to amplify the protests from outside France

Let’s go back in late 1943. German soldiers deployed in the western front listened to Soldatensender Calais (Soldier’s Station Calais), which was believed to be a Nazi operated radio station from the official military broadcasting network. (2/17)

The whole process is done in secrecy, there are no publicly available statistics about the vulnerabilities being kept
These are intelligence agencies, they know how disinformation works and how to keep information confidential. There is zero guarantee all vulnerabilities will go through VEP. Some of them might be compartmentalized to upper classification and only known to a few.

Ok so let's start analyzing a bit what could happen tomorrow. All the docs, images and videos are previously published by #GiletsJaunes protesters in #France (#Paris, #Nice and other cities).
One of the first things I noticed is that many #GiletsJaunes will be in #Paris tomorrow to protest #Macron's presidency.
People here have different political opinions and sometimes they started arguing on Telegram channels. Sometimes they even threaten each other.
Despite small quarrels between few members, #GiletsJaunes' admins are pretty organized (or at least they look so). Some useful maps and schemes are shared with members.

I'm seeing accounts call themselves "bot hunters" & run prominent resistance accounts thru sites like botcheck.me. If the site says the account is a #Bot, they tweet that info.

It's a tactic to discredit #Resistance accounts & sow #chaos & #Division. THREAD 1/5
These fake "bot hunters" count on people believing them & blocking the accounts they call bots. This reduces the resistance account's reach & effectiveness.
