My new piece on what the recent Senate studies about Russian social media posts actually show: a juvenile, microscopic operation massively over-hyped by political elites, pundits, & "experts" with sketchy agendas & contemptuous views of average voters:

Some points to stress: 1) it's tough to suggest that Russian clickbait helped decide the 2016 election when even the Senate authors acknowledge that just "11% of the total content" from Russian trolls "was related to the election", & their posts "minimally about the candidates."
2) the widespread claim that Russian trolls reached 126M on Facebook is in fact a spin on Facebook's own "estimate":

And that’s his legacy as president.

He also has a legacy as CIA Director and Vice President.

As the U.S.-backed Indonesian forces committed genocide in East Timor, George H.W. Bush endorsed the genocide first as CIA Director in 1975, then as Vice President, and ultimately as President.

Stop canonizing a war criminal, racist, and abuser.
During the debate over the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to end segregation and Jim Crow, he said he was worried about the other 86% of people (white people.) And you guys are gonna call this person a hero?
Thanks to Bush, the DEA and the racist War on Drugs as we know it came into existence and started with an underhanded deal, entrapment, and a legacy of violence, racism, and increased state power. See this thread for more on that.
