Any model is as good as the data on which it stands, and the percentage of data it can explain. The models for human genetic migration are extremely flimsy, as the real data on which they stand (fossil DNA) is extremely minuscule. The rest is hard-codes bias.
The bias can indeed be reduced by incorporating other evidence, coming from fields like archaeology where the data is far more solid. Even within genetics, the genome of animals dependent on human migrations (mice, cows, dogs, Bacteria like H.Pylori etc) needs to be incorporated.
All this point to a very straightforward explanation: the migration of people outward from a large population centre with agricultural surplus.
