I ❤️ questions like this on @IndieHackers: "Barely Technical, Have an Idea, What Next?"

Discussion: indiehackers.com/forum/barely-t…

My answer 👇
Am I a radical "No Code" evangelist? 😅

Honestly, I really think you can do so much at the start of developing an idea, without making anything! Or, if you know how to use "No Code tools", you can whip up something in < 1 day.
If you can not code, you do not need a developer or technical co-founder in the first stages of developing your idea. You can gather all the proof around the idea and it's proposition yourself.
Sometimes I think it's actually "better" if you do not know how to code - What most developers really love is "building a / the thing", so that's what they will generally start with.
That's not bad, but I think that if you do not have the right mindset - and nobody ends up using your product - you might be (too) disappointed because you already "worked on the thing".

People like @levelsio and @marckohlbrugge have the right mindset for example
And I think it helps (them) a lot when an idea "fails" --> because they know how to distil the learnings from their efforts and move on to the next idea.
If you're not a coder, you start off different. And I think it's sometimes easier to start with an idea as a "No Coder", because the danger of going "to far down the rabbit hole" is less prevalent. You can keep your efforts a bit more contained (I hope I don't offend anyone lol)
