Of interest to fellow geeks --
CBS announces it will sell CBS Television City to Hackman Capital Partners for $750 million.

CBS says it will lease back the lot for at least five years to keep programs such as "The Price is Right" and "The Young and the Restless" in their historic homes.
CBS president Joe Ianniello says buyer Hackmann Capital is committed to Television City's legacy "as both a cultural landmark and modern production facility."
The move marks CBS's departure (as a landowner) from Hollywood, where it has had a presence since Columbia Square opened in 1938. The network's primary base of operations on the West Coast is now in Studio City.
