(THREAD) Wait A Minute, Let's Discuss 'The List'..Because..
..the problem with Republicans saying they need to CONVINCE people that they care about them, like @MiaBLove,

is that, shocker, Conservatives DON'T actually care about people.
Let me clarify,

2/ they care about some people, but crucially, not all people, not even most people; and unless you appear on their ever fluctuating 'list' of those deemed worthy & deserving enough to be given a fair chance, then unfortunately you're shit out of luck.
Let me further clarify,

3/ that when I say Conservatives I mean, real, true conservatives. There are many people who vote conservative inexplicably, who actually are far from being real conservatives, but that's for another article. This article is about 'the list'.
The list fluctuates by the way,

4/ because at times when they don't need help from specific enablers to maintain their power and influence, then it's a very short list. When things are going badly for conservatives, like they are right now, low and behold,

5/ even 'you' might appear on the list. It should be obvious by now, though sadly, astonishingly, I suspect it's still not, that if those at the top of the list didn't require anything at all to maintain their wealth, power and influence,

6/ they would not even engage with any other humans at all. Well, except perhaps, to toy with and play with occasionally for pleasure, like those fat trophy hunting sociopathic turds who shoot elephants and lions...for fun. If they could,

7/ they would live atop a mountain like Greek gods, selfishly and obscenely indulging their worst vices whilst the rest of us below scrabbled about, for the scraps mistakenly dropped from their vast banqueted table. At best we would be as pets to them; at worse,

8/ occasional annoying bacterial outbreaks in need of swift extermination.
You might think as a conservative yourself, that you're safely secured on this list, but arguably no one is secure, and certainly if you're on the lower tier of the list,

9/ your position is wildly vulnerable. You see this list is in two parts. At the very top of the list, and the most comfortably safe, for now, are the rich and powerful. This section of the list can include (but is certainly not exclusive to) big banks and business,

10/ wealthy organised lobbying factions; rich, established families and groups, corrupt and influential domestic and geopolitical players with the very real power to change the world at their will. Sounds like some Bond villain flavoured, illuminati smeared, crackpot,

11/ tinfoil hat babbling nonsense doesn't it. But it's not some weird hidden conspiracy, orchestrated by a criminal mastermind with a scar and a pussy cat. It's actually been in pretty much, plain sight for hundreds of years. If you're in this section of the list,

12/ you reap the most reward for your successful endeavours. But, remember, you have the most to lose, so it's in your interests, not only to maintain the solidity of the list, but also your position on it. And hey if you can move up the list,

13/ by stepping on someone else above you what's more deserving than that. In fact what's more conservative.
Now what about part two of the list. Well, all the rest of you, from rich, greedy,

14/ selfish Republicans banging their heads on the bottom 'wall' of the upper tier (have faith, some of you, not many, WILL make it beyond the wall; for a better way of life); through meagre numbered celebrities, out and out racists and extremists;

15/ right down to conservative Christians, scared poor white people, family values zealots and even you utterly illogical swing voters; you're safety on the list is very perilous. You see at various times throughout history,

16/ top tier Conservatives have cynically and dishonestly put huge efforts into procuring your support and patronage to further their selfish position as top listers. If it meant from your support, they could get your votes, your approval of their behaviour,

17/ and most importantly your money, to keep on living their obnoxiously avaricious lives of gross wealth, then suddenly, you were their best friend. Their bff. Best friend.....forever. Honestly.
The problem, and you can see it can't you,

18/ is that fundamentally they will say anything, they will lie through their assholes, without any inkling of moral guilt or remorse, to get what they want; and what they want, what they need, what they lust for is, at all costs, to 'conserve' their decadent, privileged,

19/ selfish way of life. They do this by making your cause, their cause. They will say your concerns are their concerns. That your problems are their problems. But they, of course, are not. And the greatest trick they pulled in human history, was to so corrupt the system,

20/ and those within it, (which is all of us right now, btw), that so many in the modern world actually use the same tactics and methods to further their own cause. How many conservative, Christian, political, cultural, media, right wing leaders, just in the past few years,

21/ have you seen act dishonestly, corruptly and criminally, in order to further their cause, in the belief that the end justifies the means. Many, otherwise ordinarily average conservatives think that doing anything, that would normally,

22/ utterly go against even their own sense of morality, is OK if it means they can gain traction in whatever cause they see as their mission to affect, correct or protect. This is why I say for the thousandth time. Trump, Mein DumbMF,

23/ @realDonaldTrump is not an anomaly. He is the natural evolution of conservatism, from the first days of modern western democracy to the present day.
In those early days, when the rich lords of the land; small in number, always white, always male,

24/ always fat from the luxurious indulgences of their most base desires, and eating lots of chicken legs; came under threat from the newly vocal political voices of the common man, they hit upon a plan. They would appeal to the worst proclivities of us humans;

25/ instincts and desires, things we all possess, but which were a way of life for upper classes, in an attempt to warp the democratic process. You want to keep your money, not pay taxes; vote for us, we don't want to pay them either. You want to continue owning slaves;

26/ vote for us, we want to keep owning humans too. You want to just rape women whenever you want; vote for us, we want to continue doing that too. You want everyone else to live how you want them to live, to speak how you want them to speak, pray how you want them to pray,

27/ to shit, eat, love, die, procreate, assimilate and integrate precisely according to your particular requirements; then fabaroony, so do we. Vote for us, give us all the power we want,

28/ and we'll make them fucking do it.
It's been going on for centuries. It's caused hardship and struggle for anyone not on the list, (and often for people on the list), especially those with no hope of ever getting anywhere near the list. Wrong country, wrong colour,

29/ wrong social class. It's caused death, war and abject wholesale misery and it continues to this day, with more and more people (though still significantly less than the rest of us) forgetting their own ancestral history,

30/ and signing up to join the list.
That's actually the worst thing about conservatism. At its core it rejects and exploits everyone but those at the top of the list. If by chance an individual or group, somehow becomes a candidate to join the list, be they black,

31/ poor or God forbid a woman, the first thing that usually happens to that person or group is, they pull the ladder up. Forgotten is the struggle of their ancestors at the hands of conservative misery, now we're with the cool kids. 'I'm alright Jack',

32/ now let's bolt the door. It's a product of that old saying power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts absolutely.
So what's the solution. What can we, the majority of the world, most of us decent, kind, loving humans do, to counter this revolting pestilence,

33/ that has plagued modern human progress for centuries. It is time to recognise that conservative, right wing thinking is counter to a functioning democracy. If any group wishes to destroy, undermine or exploit democracy, however brazenly, deceptively or slyly they do it,

34/ they should be excluded from the game. Play nice or fuck off. Liberals have to get serious now. Brutal consequences for those who would bring about an end to positive human progress by selfishly,

35/ greedily lying and cheating. We pushed racism and sexism to the fringes of decent modern society and look where they both are today. Still miles from making an equitable, fair, inclusive life for all. That's because conservatives have exploited the rest of us,

36/ and we've let them. It must stop for the sake of democracy. For the sake of prosperity. Hell, for the sake of the continued existence of humanity on planet fucking Earth, conservative,

37/ right wing politics must not be part of the democratic process anymore.
The stakes are now way too high
