Fun split test we’re running starting tonight:

Raising the price of every single product on our store by $20

Update: Conversion rate is down by almost 1% but AOV is up by, whaddya know, $20!

Haven’t calculated profit yet will update soon
ROAS is down (little less than 2) but estimated net profit is actually higher than normal bc of lower COGS (less orders to pay supplier for)

All in all seems like a good move

I remember one time my dad told me a story about him.
My dad was 12 years younger than my uncle. Uncle was a brutal older brother.

Growing up he’d beat his ass whenever he fucked up on the field/court or said some shit out of line.

Anyways, my dad was in his 20s at this point and went to visit my uncle in Arizona.

Before he even got up to the door he said the smell was strong as fuck. Opened the door, every single wall in the place was lined floor to ceiling with kilos of weed.

2/Trump is now full on wag-a-dogging a fictional national security crisis right before our election. He/his Admin are ignoring a massive domestic terror incident to focus on a ragged group of migrants 40-50 days away fr our border. Whole thing is absurd.
3/As Trumpism was derived/informed by right wing European parties and Putinism, Trump has been desperately searching for his enemy - dangerous migrants, terrorists - from day 1. Problem is we don't really have that here in US. So his political project hasn't ever really worked.

#UPDATE on Smile Communications service outage. At an arbitration meeting between Smile Communications & Eaton Towers held at UCC, the meeting resolved administrative issues that recently affected the delivery of communication services to Smile customers.

In an arbitration meeting between the two Smile Communications and Eaton Towers (infrastructure provider), it was agreed to reconnect all Smile sites that had been previously switched off to the benefit of all stakeholders concerned & this was done even before the meeting ended.
The parties to the arbitration agreed to sign a temporary addendum to allow re-connection and service restoration pending conclusion of the ongoing negotiations for a new service provisioning agreement.

1/ I find that recruiting, much like sales and a lot of other things, looks like a funnel. A funnel where clear goals and measurable results on a regular basis, are critical.
2/ A funnel should have several steps to it. In the case of recruiting I have found these to be effective: a) outreach, b) first conversation, c) onsite, d) offer, e) conversion. We have found that adding more layers is counterproductive for us. I like to measure weekly.
3/ Regardless of your funnel – add/subtract layers because the data provides insights into your process. For us, if we see a big drop off between 2d and 2e it might mean we aren’t providing market comp, not doing a good job of selling the candidate, etc.
