i have a lot of thoughts and feelings about the conclusion of this trial and of this project, but i am going to be late for a city council work session if i don't leave right this moment. life goes on. the work continues.
it is perhaps insensitive to say that life goes on at the conclusion of a murder trial. heather’s life was cut short. but in her mother’s words, there remains much work to be done to achieve the ideals her daughter died for.
