I can admit that I have, until recently, spent a great deal of time, within the safety of the cocoon I created for myself as a Black womAn from GA in the U.S.

I've always known, even as a child, that my well-being was directly tied to white supremacy and racism... 2/
what I wasn't aware of until recently, was how intimately connected my well-being and that of Black women was now being impacted by the decisions of tech leaders

There’s one thing that I can say about Twitter, there’s ALWAYS an opportunity for me to learn and to be challenged

I continue to grapple with the fact that ppl are complex and how to develop strategy that clearly defines where to draw my line

(1) I think I've figured out something. Maybe I'm being paranoid but, I've seen too much to make me think this is something that can just be blown off.
(2) Many people on the Left freaked entirely out when they lost the 2016 election.

The reaction was completely out of proportion to what it should have been.

A great many people had to wonder: WHY?
(3) It wasn't just social justice warriors. It was senators, representatives and even members of the intelligence community- people that will obviously know more than the average guy.
