WARNING: MONSTER THREAD:

Since @realDonaldTrump, his Republican toadies & the obsequious morons at @FoxNews continue to discredit Mueller & the @FBI. But their evidence of a “biased investigation” is speculative. So let’s review what HAS been verified as fact, shall we?
1) despite your countless denials, 9 members of Trump campaign/admin met w/ Russians.

2) after contact w/ Russians, Trump intervened to soften Republican’s stance on support for the Ukraine at the RNC.
3) After Obama levied sanctions against Russia for election meddling, M. Flynn promised Russian Ambassador Kislyak Trump would relax sanctions immediately after being sworn in.

4) Flynn then lied to the @FBI about making that promise. Whoops!
5) Mike Pence then backed that lie to the American people numerous times.

6) Sally Yates informed Don McGahn that Flynn was guilty of lying to the @FBI and therefore, subject to Russian blackmail.

7) The same day, Trump asks James Comey for his “loyalty.” Hmm, that’s odd...
8) James Comey tells Reince Priebus “not to meddle” in the investigation.

9) 6 days later Trump tells Comey he hope he will “let Flynn go.”

7) Instead of firing NSA Flynn, DT fired Sally Yates.

8) Suddenly, Flynn can’t “remember if he discussed Russia sanctions” w/ Kislyak.
9) After Flynn’s lie was leaked to media, Trump had no choice but to fire Flynn... 17 days after being warned he had broken federal law.

10) But he continued to defend Flynn.

11) Sean Spicer continued to deny contact between Trump campaign and Russia.
12) Despite knowing he lied to the @FBI, Trump continues to defend Michael Flynn on Twitter.

13) The WH asks @FBI to shoot down Russia story to media. @FBI declines.

14) Carter Paige, Jeff Sessions, and Don Jr all continue to deny contacts w/ Russia.
15) Sessions recuses himself from Russia investigation.

16) Carter Page admits to meeting w/ Russians.

17) NYTimes reports undisclosed meeting between Kushner, Flynn & Kislyak.

18) Roger Stone admits to communicating w/ Russian hacker.

19) Devin Nunes races to WH in the middle of the night to receive documents from WH lawyer that supposedly corroborate Trump claims of wiretapping. In the AM Nunes bypasses his committee and rushes to WH to present them with the documents they gave him less than 12 hours earlier.
20) Trump asks Senior Intelligence Officials to get Comey to “back off.”

21) Trump asks Comey to “lift the cloud” of Russia investigation.

22) WH refuses to release documents on Michael Flynn’s foreign lobbying.

23) Comey testifies about Russian meddling, infuriating Trump.
24) Trump fires Comey, claiming his decision was based on Comey’s pre-election re-opening of the HRC email investigation.

25) When that doesn’t hold water, the decision is attributed to a letter of recommendation by Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein...who they asked to write the letter.
26) Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Sanders then says Trump has wanted to fire Comey since he took office... but claims Rosenstein letter was still the impetus.

27) WH releases confusing statement saying the decision to fire Comey originated with Trump, but Trump met w/ Sessions...
...and Rosenstein to discuss “reasons for removing the director.”

28) WH Oversight Chairman requests investigation into Comey firing.

29) Trump breaches etiquette meeting with Russian Foreign Minister and Ambassador Kislyak in the Oval Office, calling Comey a “nut job,”...
...claiming that now the “pressure is off” and he isn’t “under investigation.”

30) Trump admits to Lester Holt he was thinking about the Russia investigation when he fired Comey.

31) Trump alludes to taped conversations w/ Comey. WH is forced to dodge questions about tapes.
32) Comey gives a friend memos on his conversations with Trump.

33) Spicer forced to dodge questions about tapes of Comey conversation again, including 7 times in one press briefing.

34) HR McMaster forced to issue non-denial of Trump providing sensitive intelligence to Russia.
35) Trump defends sharing intel with Russia on Twitter.

36) NSA forced to defend Trump sharing intel with Russia.

37) Rosenstein appoints former @FBI director Robert Mueller to Special Counsel, which is widely praised by Republicans.
38) Trump denies asking Comey to “back down” from Flynn investigation.

39) Reuters reports that WH lawyers already looking to undermine Mueller, 2 days after he was appointed.
40) Washington Post reports that Kushner met with Kislyak on December 1 and requested a “secret and secure backchannel” so WH could communicate with Kremlin without US Intelligence listening.

41) New contacts between Kushner and Kislyak emerge.
42) Comey testifies about Trump’s multiple attempts to scuttle Flynn investigation and his request for “loyalty.”

43) Trump fumes, but declares “complete vindication.”

44) Trump accuses Comey of lying under oath.

45) Trump accuses Comey of leaking information.
46) WH Aides begins asking if they need “outside counsel.”

47) Trump reported to be considering “firing Mueller.”

48) Rosenstein testifies that he sees “no reason to fire Mueller.”

49) Trump and WH finally acknowledge there are no “tapes” of Comey conversations.
50) Trump blames Obama for response to hacking, demands “apology.”

51) Trump refuses to blame Russia for election meddling at G20 summit.

52) Trump meets with Putin at G20 and says Putin denied meddling and he “I believe him.”
53) Trump meets with Putin again without US translator. No transcript exists of their conversation.

54) Don JR’s Trump Tower meeting becomes public, Don JR issues statement claiming the meeting was about an adoption program.
55) The next day, after his emails are made public, Don JR’s story about meeting changes and he acknowledges it was about getting dirt on Hillary Clinton...but claims it “went nowhere.”

56) Don JR hires defense lawyer.
57) Trump’s involvement in writing the misleading statement about Trump Tower meeting becomes public.

58) Trump denies knowledge of Trump Tower meeting

59) Yahoo News reports Trump lawyers knew about Trump Tower meeting weeks before it was made pubic.
60) Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow denies Trump participated in drafting WH statement on Trump Tower meeting.

61) Trump defends his son on Twitter.

62) Sean Spicer repeats debunked claim the meeting was about a Russian adoption program.
63) In a NYTimes interview, Trump defends his son taking the Trump Tower meeting again.

107) Trump’s transition team realizes Robert Mueller has their emails and complains to Congress.
108) News breaks that Robert Mueller has removed Peter Strzok from the investigation for personal texts to his mistress, also an investigator, criticizing Donald Trump. Texts also reveal he criticized Chelsea Clinton, Eric holder and Bernie Sanders.
109) Rod Rosenstein defense Mueller investigation before House Judiciary committee.

110) Donald Trump blasts the FBI and won’t rule out pardoning Michael Flynn in comments to press.
111) Donald Trump, fellow Republicans and @FOXNews continue a consistent and coordinated attack on the integrity of the @FBI and the Mueller investigation.
THOSE are the facts. So when someone insists that the Russia investigation is a “hoax,” a witch hunt” and a “Deep State coup,” forward them this thread. And ask them if they believe two investigators private texts, which criticized political figures on both sides of the aisle...
… are more damning than HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of lies, false denials and changing stories by @realDonaldTrump, his family, his campaign and his staff.

It’s not hard to connect the dots.
