The attorneys for Dan McCready have submitted 20 affidavits from voters and witnesses. Some of these affidavits have been reported before but many of these names are new to me #NC09 @wsoctv

Callie Locklear, a Robeson Co voter, says she handed her sealed absentee ballot to man outside an early voting location. She did not know the man. The man told her he would personally deliver her ballot to the proper county officials inside #NC09 @wsoctv

Cetrie Retamar of Bladen County says she received an absentee ballot in the mail that she did not request #NC09 @wsoctv

Chris Eason of Bladen County says McCrae Dowless came to his house and asked for his ballot. Eason says he signed the envelope but left the ballot blank. He says he gave Dowless unsealed envelope and ballot #NC09 @wsoctv

Side note- I met Chris Eason in Bladen County. He is related to Ginger Eason, who told me she was paid to pick up ballots and promote Mark Harris and Jim McVicker by McCrae Dowless #NC09

Douglas Bullard of Bladen County says he knows Lisa Britt personally. He says Britt came to his work and asked if he wanted to request an absentee ballot. He said no. One was requested for him anyway. He says he did not fill out or sign the attached & submitted request form #NC09

Emma Shipman has filed a supplemental affidavit. She says after she filed a compliant with the Board of Elections about someone taking her unsealed and unsigned ballot, the woman who took the ballot brought it back to her #NC09

Emma Shipman live in a small community called Tar Heel down an unpaved road practically in the woods. When a spoke to her a couple weeks ago, she was amazed anyone was able to find her #NC09

Hazel Guyton of Bladen County says McCrae Dowless picked up his ballot and that he has been doing it for several years #NC09 @wsoctv

Lonnie Bullard of Bladen County says Lisa Britt stopped by her residence and asked if she wanted to fill out an absentee ballot request form. She declined. One was filled out for her anyway. Lonnie says she did not fill out or sign this form #NC09

Take a look at the handwriting on the two absentee ballot request forms that the Bullards say they didn't fill out or sign. I am not a handwriting expert but they look basically the same #NC09

Melissa Williams of Bladen County says a woman came to her house to pick up her absentee ballot. Williams says she gave the woman her ballot and unsealed envelope #NC09

Melody Covington of Bladen County says a woman came by her house to pick up her absentee ballot. Covington refused to give it to her #NC09

Nichole Nimmons of Bladen County says their name is on a public records list of voters who requested an absentee ballot. Nimmons never requested or received one #NC09

Stephanie Page of Robeson County says a man came to her house to pick up her absentee ballot. She gave it to him and doesn't know if it was delivered to elections officials #NC09

🚨Whoa x 2🚨 former Bladen BOE Vice Chair Jens Lutz provided an affidavit.

Lutz says Board staff allowed McCrae Dowless to take and copy unredacted absentee ballot request forms. Lutz says this gave Dowless the ability to request absentee ballots for anyone who has voted by mail

🚨 Whoa x 3 🚨former Bladen BOE Vice Chair Jens Lutz says they discovered several forged absentee ballot request forms including one from a dead person. When he asked Director Shaw whether she provided the BOE with the request form from the dead person, she said no contact McCrae

🚨 Lutz says Dowless abused an open records provision allowing him to have the Absentee Ballot Voter Correspondence Report.

Lutz says this allowed Dowless to know which houses to send his workers too. He says Dowless may have used this info to target African American voters

🚨 Lutz says he knows of one person who overheard McCrae Dowless bragging about his candidates were winning after early voting. He says former director Shaw had the ability to see the results without printing the tape #NC09 @wsoctv

Lutz says Bladen BOE security is lax. Anyone with access to the office can easily access the room. He also says Lisa Britt was identified as the woman who picked up absentee ballots from Datesha Montgomery and Emma Shipman #NC09

Dr. Stephen Ansolabehere, the Frank G. Thompson Professor of Government at Harvard University, submitted a sworn affidavit. It is basically a 48 page research paper #NC09

Dr. Stephen Ansolabehere says "the rates at which voters who requested absentee mail ballots in Bladen and Robeson counties did not return their absentee ballots are extreme statistical outliers." #NC09

Dr. Ansolabehere says absentee by mail voting patterns in Bladen & Robeson differed from the rest of #NC09 and NC in two ways: (1/3)

1- "Exceedingly high rates at which absentee mail ballots were not returned in these counties, and with which people neither returned an absentee mail ballot, nor managed to vote in some other way" #NC09 (2/3)

2- "Among the ballots that were actually returned in these counties, the patterns of absentee mail votes deviated greatly from the absentee mail vote patterns observed elsewhere in the state." #NC09 (3/3)

The affidavits I tweeted out were all new to me. The ones I did not tweet out were affidavits I (and others) have previously reported.

Tomorrow am I'm flying back to CLT and working. It looks like there will be plenty of #NC09 follow ups.
