Oh my stars and garters did I hate DEADPOOL 2 and everything it represents, and I think I heard from some of the same DEATH WISH bros about how I didn’t like it cause I’m just a snob critic who hates superheroes and just wants them to be dark.

Sean and Cody can’t throw for shit but the normal dude - let’s call him the least gay-porny name possible ... maybe ... Bob? ... fires the ball like it’s a cannon and catches their wobbly-ass tosses by like diving into the sand
Sean just called Cody “bro” and remarked on his abs (which ARE remarkable) and I know how this scene ends I’ve seen it many times oh poor Bob let Bob do craft services or whatever

I'm gonna do my thread of my favorite stories I wrote this year. Inspired by others who have done the same, I'm going to include my rate for transparency. 2018 was incredible for me, careerwise. I broke into dream pubs & upped my rates. I established myself as a feature writer.
I started the year strong with my first NYT byline. The story ran in print, in the sports section, on Super Bowl Sunday, which was just BEYOND anything I could have ever imagined. $1/word. nytimes.com/2018/02/02/wel…

Many prominent people were involved with this Cosmic Movement as we will see. One of them was Tomáš Masaryk (who became the first President of Czechoslovakia) also the Princess of Rohan in Vienna and many others. However this group was actually a spin-off of the OTO.

One year ago when H was being born in a hospital room, I was standing right next to my sister hearing her cry in pain. As her screams muffled, I heard baby H’s voice for the first time as he cried in the nurse’s arms. I welcomed him to the world with the cheeriest hello ever.
I was the first person to hold him and feed him his first ever meal; a quarter of teaspoon of honey. H, ever since, has been nothing but a source of joy for us. He has become best friends with mummy, nana, nani, khala, maamo.

1\ Sometimes, as managers, we only share with our direct reports the information we think they need to get their job done. We do that because we think that's going to make them more productive and focused.

2\ If we withhold information, 1 of 2 things might happen:

A) We don't delegate and end up doing things we shouldn't be doing because "my direct report doesn't know enough". We don't realize that we're making them not know enough and adding us more work that we could...
3\ ... use for doing other things that we should be doing.

B) We're making it harder for our direct reports to talk to other people directly to get shit done, and in turn, make them always come to us to know who to go to.
