1/ My first lesson this year came in the form of the ConCourt application to challenge the Presidential election @edmnangagwa @nelsonchamisa @matigary @SibandaSibbs @TrevorNcube @Busisa74 @Wamagaisa @freemanm1234 @freemanchari @PTChimusoro 
2/ Simple laws of evidence are such that the burden of proof is on the accusing party. He who accuses must prove. The applicant @nelsonchamisa legal team did not seem to be equal to the task. Very little if any evidence was produced
3/ There was public outcry about the alleged bias of the presiding officials. They asked applicant's lawyers more questions than respondents. I think they needed to, the applicant needed to prove their allegations.
4/ The general feeling of @nelsonchamisa supporters as expected was that they were hard done by the Con Court. I feel that it was because of the way the political landscape has been so polarised. Everything besides themselves is biased towards @edmnangagwa.
5/My findings disagree with that thought process. I believe that the ConCourt ruled fairly, they weighed the evidence brought to them. A pile of V11 forms were at an @mdczimbabwe presser but nowhere near the ConCourt where they were required
6/ If there was any rigging in that election or tampering. There are two possibilities. The first one is that the @mdczimbabwe did not have any real evidence to prove it, just hearsay. In a trial of that nature, hearsay evidence is generally inadmissible
7/ The second possibility is that the @mdczimbabwe was shocked by other evidence at hand which was against their claims. One such piece of evidence was the Parliamentary results which showed a Zanu Pf majority. This majority has not been subject to dispute.
8/ Even though legally acceptable, it seems the @mdczimbabwe managed to crucify the Con Court and Zanu Pf using public sentiment, which does not grow through stern tests like the ones expected of the legal system.
