Palestinian musician Naseem Alatrash just released his latest music video titled Lifta, after the Palestinian village destroyed and depopulated during the 1948 Nakba. The video is shot in what remains of Lifta village today.
In 1947 2,550 Palestinians lived in the town of Lifta. There were coffeehouses, shops, an elementary school, and a social club. But later that year Lifta was targeted by zionist militia and destroyed, its inhabitants displaced. eyewitnesspalestine.org/delegation66-e… 
Naseem Alatrash is a globally acclaimed Palestinian cellist. He studied at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, a Palestinian music conservatory, before coming to the US to broaden his skills and perform on the global stage. berklee.edu/people/naseem-…
