1st: Fuck a general store
You need to choose a niche. A passionate niche.
One with disposable income.
Why? You need to sell a lifestyle, an emotional feeling to your buyers. You're not selling products, you're selling a feeling/life/vibe.
So, choose ONE niche & go all in.

2nd: Make your store look like a brand. Do not call your "store" a "store", no that's your eCom brand, not store.
Portray the emotional feeling you want to sell throughout the entire brand: copy, images, text font, style, about us page.
Everything needs to be congruent.

3rd: Steal products from other stores. I got this one from @8MichaelKing , find a brand that is in the same niche and attach:
collections/all?sort_by=best-selling
to the end of the URL. Take their products, add them to your store with a custom marketing angle. Ez.

4th: Add these apps:
Hurrify
Frequently bought together
Upsell X
Abandonment Protector
Bundles and Discounts
McAfee Secure
These will increase your AOV, generate you more sales, and make your brand look much, much more legit.

5th: Start with IG shoutouts
Run IG shoutouts within your niche. 50-150k follower accounts. I ran a lot of Free + Shipping offers as advertised by @StartSellingSSS

Finally, to be completely honest, this store doesn't mean much to me and isn't really a major source of income.
My VA handles everything now as I scale this agency I'm doing, but I plan to scale this store with FB ads heavy.
The orders are addicting though.
