This year was a total shit show. So, just to stick it to ourselves one last time, we decided to relive 10 things which we either led, were a part of or were inspired by in 2018.

THE SLEEPING GIANTS 2018 YEAR IN REVIEW
1) January saw Steve Bannon go from the title of "Racist Blog Manager" to just "Racist" as he was deposed from Breitbart after only a few months back on the job. Of course, we had nothing to do with this, but it's nice to relive again. Just because it is.
2) After a year and a half of us screaming into the void about it, Unilever finally came out swinging against @facebook and other social platforms refusing to address the hate and harassment on their platforms. Still a long way to go, but...a massive step.

When I say white America is racist. This is what I mean.

Even its "liberal" outlets are naturally inclined to minimize and obfuscate the plain truth of racism.

White supremacy defends whiteness at every level.
You don't have to hate Black people to support white supremacy.

You don't even have to dislike us.

You just have to care more about defending the reputation and respectablity of whiteness than dismantling it.
You want to know why white politicians are just NOW condemning Steve King after fifteen years of him being a racist dillhole?

Because it was more important that they minimized the idea that racism is pervasive than rid Congress of an open white supremacist.

Lots of white people care more about being called a racist than not saying racist things. They'll do anything to make it about them instead of marginalized groups, often to the point of denying their problems altogether (example: white feminism).
We get so many messages from very concerned anime profiles about us not covering 'anti-white' racist tweets. Some of these are clearly tweets that racists make go viral in order to get us to validate their claims of racism against whites. We see through the bullshit
